House of Horror Font is a typeface that was created in 1997 by Richard Bradley. The design is based on the lettering used in the opening credits of the 1959 film House on Haunted Hill.
The lettering in the film's credits is very similar to the font P22 Dearest, which was designed by Paul Hunt in 1996. However, Bradley's design includes some additional features, such as sharp points on the letters A and R, and a more angular overall shape.
Bradley's font was first released through the Font Bureau foundry. It is now available from several other sources, including MyFonts and Linotype.
House of Horror Font is often used in Halloween-themed designs, due to its spooky appearance. It can also be used with enchanted forest font, It is perfect for creating retro-styled graphics or advertisements. The online generator tool "The Ransomizer" even allows users to create " ransom note" style text using the House of Horror Font.
